Our Brick by Brick♥ campaign, which officially closed on 31 August 2024, was a monumental effort to rebuild our church, guided by God's grace and love at every step. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this project, ensuring that, with God's blessing, the story, memories, and community connections continue.

Our Project and Continuing Support

The Proserpine Whitsunday Uniting Church has a rich history on the corner of Main and Herbert Streets, serving the local community since 1899. Over the years, our church has evolved from a humble wooden structure into a larger, more solid building, becoming St James Uniting Church in 1977. Unfortunately, Cyclone Debbie brought an end to this beloved building, and we launched a fundraising campaign to build a new church that would stand strong for future generations.

While the official campaign has ended, we still welcome and appreciate all further donations and contributions. These funds will be used for the ongoing administration and maintenance of the new church building, helping us to sustain this vital community hub.

Supporting Other Worthy Causes

Beyond the church rebuilding project, we also support various initiatives that address critical needs within our community. Your donations can make a difference in areas such as:

♥   Homelessness: Assisting those without a place to call home.

♥   Court Support: Providing support to individuals navigating the legal system.

♥   Care Work: Offering aid and comfort to those in need through our Church’s outreach programs.
