Christian Religious Education (CRE)
Volunteer CRE teachers, all of whom at the present time are members of the Uniting Church, use Education Queensland resources and a wide selection of learning experiences such as story telling, music, art, role play, discussion, and movement in the presentation of lessons. There is usually a worksheet to take home.
We can learn how to care about each other, how to be unselfish, how to forgive and how to know Jesus as a faithful friend who is always there to help.
Without a set of values that can be gained from studying God’s word our lives would be poorer and shallower.
Our lessons reinforce the Proserpine Primary School motto: Be Safe. Be Friendly. Be Respectful and Be a Learner.
Our aim is to make each lesson a memorable time of learning how to be good people in a fun and friendly way.
