During the years, there have been many wonderful shows driven by themes such as: \u2018Bearly Beautiful\u2019 with people sharing their bears: \u2018Oh! You Beautiful Doll!\u2019 with a display of dolls, large, small and tiny, from many eras. There have been spectacular floral art creations such as the \u2018The Sinking of the Titanic\u2019 for \u2018And the Bands played on!\u2019 and the garden setting for \u2018Garden Party.\u2019<\/p>\n

There have been Fashion Parades: 150 Fabulous Frocks when the state of Queensland celebrated its 150th birthday, starting with indigenous fashions modelled by some lovely young aboriginal people.<\/p>\n

For the 70th Flower Show, authentic fashions from the era 1942 to 2012 were modelled, interspersed with song and dance from each era. One patron said, \u201cI really needed to be at home, but it was all so interesting!\u201d<\/p>\n

There has been great entertainment provided by so many: choirs, bands, soloists, and dancers.<\/p>\n

The Flower Show is an example for everyone. This is church members and friends from other places, coming together on the day and doing what they do best.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
