Brick by Brick♥ Campaign Reaches Halfway Point

16 August 2023

We have reached the halfway point in our Brick by Brick♥ fundraising campaign.

Since 1st August, we have been appealing to the nation for their support to raise an additional $250,000 to rebuild our church.

In a time when many in the community are facing cost-of-living challenges, the housing crisis, and financial uncertainty the campaign has been steadily supported with $49,000 already raised.

Those who have contributed to the campaign have shared stories of multigenerational history and deep connections with the church. Many people, such as Ann, have shared stories of weddings and baptisms, (with Ann’s parent’s 13 grandchildren confirmed at the church!) of attending, then teaching Sunday School, to serving on church committees.

Others, who have no connection with the church or even live in Queensland, have donated having been inspired by our efforts.

The Brick by Brick♥ campaign represents more than just bricks and mortar. It symbolises the preservation of history, the revival of memories, and the reinforcement of community connections.
Don’t delay, act today. Your contribution is vital to our knowing how much of our planned design we are able to build. The Brick by Brick♥ campaign closes on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023.  If you are unable to contribute by August 29, then write, email, ‘phone and let us know of your donation amount. The promised amount will inform the building budget and all gifted donations after this date will be gratefully received.
