Proserpine Whitsunday Uniting Church

Pastoral Care

How we care for God's people

We provide pastoral care in a number of ways at Proserpine Whitsunday Uniting Church.

Care Wheels and Small Groups

These groups represent what is most powerful about church.

Members care about each other; help; develop friendships and have fun!

Care Wheels and Small Groups provide the opportunity to socialise, share faith, joys and struggles, ask questions and share ideas as an expression of the church family – as well as laugh over a cuppa or a barbecue.

In-home and Hospital Visiting

Our Pastoral Care Team serves the needs of the sick.  We assist with and provide friendly visiting or more intentional pastoral care visiting.

Phone the Office at 4945 1078.

Blue Care Chaplain

Our minister Rev Suzy is out and about in the community, supporting people through isolation and loneliness and assisting them to find purpose and meaning by offering Care and Wellbeing as a chaplain to the local community.

To arrange a chaplaincy visit please email minister@proserpineuniting.org.au or ‘phone the Office 4945 1078.

Prayer

You may be feeling isolated, dissatisfied or stressed.

While we don’t know all the details of what you may be struggling with, we want you to know that you’re not alone: God is with you, and so are we.

Whatever you’re facing in this season, we would be honoured to pray for you. Please email your prayer requests to minister@proserpineuniting.org.au or ‘phone the Office 4945 1078.

Prayers in the Garden

Thursday 5:30 pm we gather in the garden garden at Proserpine, cnr Herbert & Main Streets, for a cuppa and chat followed by prayers for the world.

Everyone is welcome and we’d love you to drop in for 5 minutes or an hour!  See you next Thursday.
